Drizzy, keep those eyes on the prize! In a new song called “Draft Day,” the rapper fiercely responds to a diss from Jay Z, but he more notably sends a shout-out JLaw’s way, and makes it very clear that he’d be down to hook up with her. How do you think Rihanna will react to all of this?
Rappers have never been afraid to let everyone know which stars they’re attracted to, so Drake rapping about wanting to hook up with Jennifer Lawrence on his new song “Draft Day” is not too surprising. Oh, except for the fact that he’s dating Rihanna.
Drake Wants To Hook Up With Jennifer Lawrence?
You don’t have to be a rap genius (or even log onto RapGenius) to figure out that Drake has a huge crush on Jennifer, because he’s very upfront about it. Towards the end of “Draft Day” (which is in no way related to Kevin Costner‘s upcoming movie, Draft Day), Drizzy rhymes:
On some Hunger Games s**t, I would die for my district
Jennifer Lawrence you can really get it
I mean for real, girl you know I had to do it for ya
Less than a month ago, Drake catcalling JLaw wouldn’t too shocking — but he’s a taken man now! He and Rihanna have definitely taken their relationship into more serious territory, so he might have to start being a little bit more careful about who he flirts with on his songs. But really this seems like a toss-up — we could see RiRigetting heated about this rhyme, or being just as attracted to Jennifer as Drake is.
Drake Raps About Selena Gomez
The reason why we think Rihanna might be okay with Drake drooling over another woman is that this isn’t the first time he’s done it since they’ve reconnected.
Drizzy hopped on YG‘s song “Who Do You Love” at the beginning of March and rapped about wanting to hook up with Selena Gomez. “I’mma crush that a** even if it ain’t too big,” the rapper sang, referencing a previous interview Selena did where he said Drake wouldn’t hook up with her because her butt is too small.
Drake and Rihanna have only grown more serious since “Who Do You Love,” so the Unapologetic singer may be alright with her man professing his sexual preferences — so long as he doesn’t act on them. Do you agree, HollywoodLifers? Listen below and let us know!
