The  Police corporal, Damudu (surname withheld), who allegedly raped a  four-year-old girl, has been dismissed from the Force. Plateau State Police Commissioner, Mt. Chris Olakpe announced his sack yesterday at the state police headquarters in Jos.
Damudu  until his dismissal,  had  Force number 378612, and was attached to the Special Task Force  on Security (STF) in Jos, until  March 26 when at about 9 am at Kassa in Barakin Ladi Local Government Area,  he allegedly defiled little Helen .Olakpe, who also  paraded  four killer suspects with the dismissed policeman  said that the  father of the four -year- old rape victim  uncovered the defilement of his daughter when he came back from work and saw blood stains  in her pants and clothes.  He said that on her father’s interrogation, the girl identified the mobile policemen that raped her.

Olakpe said Damudu  was of 14 PMF, Markudi, attached to Sector 7 of STF and that the Inspector General of Police had shown special interest in the  case. He stated  that the suspect was given orderly room trial and having  been found guilty was  dismissed from the Police  Force..
The commissioner also paraded a 12-year old boy,who allegedly stabbed his elder brother  to  death during a quarrel, and  four armed robbers, who allegedly invaded the home of a permanent Secretary, Mrs. Julie Anpe. Also paraded was one  Benjamin, who allegedly beat his wife to death because she did not yield to his sex advances and later hanged her dead body to fake suicide act
Also paraded was a cattle rustler who came from Benue to steal 16 cows in Jos and one Markus who was alleged to have stolen his son from his mother and sold him for N350,000.
The Police boss said that all the suspects would soon be charged to court and assured  that the case against the cop rapist would be covered fully by the media.
